a whale of a tale

Today I introduce you to the beautiful Rachel…and her family.  They are all gorgeous!  And thanks to Rachel she makes me pretty too (she cuts my hair!)

We shot some fun family photos today out in Catoosa off of the famous Route 66 at the Blue Whale. This spot used to be a happening swimming hole, but now it is reserved for tourists and well me, and my people.

I cropped the photo because I was having a hard time getting the color back in the whale.  I’m afraid I may have blown the whale.   But I’m going to keep working on it.  I just had to share their beautiful faces!

sneak peek: the hendersons

Steph and Adam have been long time friends of mine.  So it was a rather special honor for them to ask me to take their family portraits.  Which meant I also had the opportunity of photographing their ham of a son, Owen.   What a blast we had!  If you can’t tell, this boy is into tractors, trucks, and fire fighting.

michael & anna

These are my first ever engagement photos.  What a fun couple Michael and Anna were. I have passed this area of culverts multiple times in my the 30 years of living but had never been out there. I love them!  It was challenging to use the curved features but I think they make for some interesting photos.

Michael and Anna, I hope you enjoy!

sneak peek: michael & anna

After a week of non-stop rain, we were welcomed with warmer temperatures and sunny skies.  I’m so glad I had a chance to photograph my cousin Michael and his fiance Anna.  I think we were all happy about the lack of rain this weekend.  Here’s a sneak peek of our evening in the sun.

p.s. Emma is the cutest little girl ever.  Cheese!

Special thanks to Drew for entertaining Emma!
