So the truth is, I haven’t done many portraits. I would really like to in the future. Actually I am already booked do do some later in the spring and summer. YES!

For now I’m just practicing on all my friend’s babies. They can be a challenge, as they wiggle often.

Since I have my digital camera now, it is my greatest desire to post more often photos artistic in nature. I also now have a blog, drewanie, that will recount some of Drew and I’s daily happenings with of course even more photos.

Alright, it’s been a month since moving into our new home. We love it! A warning for any of you about to get married and mesh your house with your spouse…it takes a lot of work! We have been working non stop on making our house a home.

So a little catch up, we are in our house and 80% settled. The office/guest room is a mess but we have a goal set to get it completed. As for my list of things to get done by the end of the year, I am doing well.

1. We got my camera! I have been happily snapping away figuring out the workings of my new toy.

2. As already mentioned we are getting close to being settled in.

3. We have been working on lots of projects around the house…a few of which I have already documented. I am looking to post those on another blog to keep ‘melovision’ strictly photographic in nature.

4. Lastly, photographing our home. It’s not quite ready to be photographed.

I’m proud to say the list is almost completed with most of this month still left to accomplish my goals. Below is a photo from Thanksgiving taken of Drew’s brother. Enjoy!

We are almost off this crazy ride. Drew and I have been living in Tulsa for two weeks now. It has been so wonderful to be where we are going to be. We have had the opportunity to hang out with friends and family. But the real excitement is this weekend. We are heading to the big state of Texas to gather all of our things. And then back up to OK to get settled into our new home.

The image below helps explain the past few weeks. Fun. Ups and Downs. Spinning. And well a real feeling of being stuck on something you just can’t jump off of yet.

p.s. I finished the roll of film in my new camera. I’m getting it developed today!
